Grandparent's Day Weekend

In early May, we were blessed to have Alan's parents visit us for Grandparents' Day--an annual day at the kids' school. Marilyn and Kit came down and spent the day at CPA where they visited the girls' classrooms, received handmade gifts, and were treated to an elementary performance.

Friday night we were treated to a performance of the Lion King. Marilyn got us amazing tickets--the girls sat third row with Marilyn. They commented that you could even see the sweat on the actors they were so close. The costumes were the coolest I have ever seen.  They were like full boy puppets. I highly recommend going if you ever get the chance.

Saturday was a soccer bonanza with Ellie and Owen at Harpeth Soccer and Katelyn in a soccer tournament.

We love when the grandparents come to visit and appreciate the time and effort it takes to stay in touch out of state.
